Swavay Is Up Next: Growth, Motion, and ‘No Deluxe’”

Ok, this week I’m releasing an interview I did with the Atlanta rapper Swavay who has had a pretty great year. I’ve been a fan of Swavay since he dropped this first ‘Billy’ EP in June 2024 while opening up on tour for Wale (which I got to be the opening DJ for as well!! 😇 ). Anywho, that project was more R&B leaning tape but since then Swavay has grown a lot on and off stage.

Swavay caught motion earlier this year after ‘Dem Girls’ started to pick up motion online followed by ‘All I Do’ that sampled the 90’s R&B group Troops ‘All I Do Is Think of You” it’s safe to say that Swavay is defiantly becoming a fan favorite within his peer group. Currently touring with J.I.D. for the God Does Like Ugly Tour and releasing his new project ‘No Deluxe’ Swavay hosted by DJ Holiday and we spoke about love and closure, his thoughts on the REAL BIG THREE post Kendrick and Drake beef + opens up about navigating the industry on his own term alongside his team and peers in rap right now.
